Exactly.

Tonight Will brought me a storybook to read to him and it happened to be about the life of Jesus. Towards the end of the book, after Jesus is resurrected, the book showed Jesus coming to the Americas. I explained that Jesus came to teach these people about the Gospel and Will said, "yeah, Jesus, and church, and the temple."

I paused for a minute to soak up what he just said. Jesus + church + the temple= the Gospel.

Yep, that about sums it up, buddy. Perfectly.
