Today Will came home from swim practice and told me he gave his goggles to his friend, Meara, because she forgot hers.

A few days prior to this, a good friend told me when Will was at their house, he called her "Mrs. Penman". I'm sure this made her feel old, but I was beaming with pride when she told me.

Few things are more satisfying than hearing that your boys are being gentlemen.

I cleaned out Will's backpack and found this in one of his notebooks.

I love you mom. You are my best friend. I can kiss you 3 times a day. I love you the best.

Love that kid. God gave him an extra dose of empathy and sweetness.
