Me: Duke is getting so big. He's almost not even fat anymore. He's lost his rolls and thunder thighs.
Cort: You know what that is? That's God giving that kid some cache because He knew when we named him Duke, He better made him look lean and svelte or else he'd get the crap beaten out of him when he's older.

Cortney reads a lot on the metro to and from work everyday, and being a nice thoughtful wife, I thought I'd surprise him and check out a few books from the library for him about interesting subjects we've talked about frequently. One of the first books I brought home was called "the Winter Boys" about the 1980 US Olympic hockey team.
Cort: You know what the book "The Winter Boys" is?
It's "Fifty Shades of Grey" for men.
